Precision Genetics of T1D Risk or Immunotherapy Response


Genetic risk for T1D is conferred by over 100 genome-wide-significant regions, most of which impact T1D development by biological mechanisms yet to be determined. We have characterized the genetics of Network for Pancreatic Organ donors with Diabetes (nPOD) donors and living subjects with T1D in order to facilitate the discovery of novel genotype:phenotype associations.
